To Care For A Plant

Begin static with
Good thought like
Life is worth

It and the
Bad things made
You better.

See, see, green.
Then.colors
And abstraction

Too complicated
For me, so
Make chlorophyll

Some cerebral
Dollars say,
Forget that

Then, continue
Still, all six
Stanzas happening

Real fast
Like an independent choo choo.
And keep the

Good thought
Most important
And unspecific

And there's
Sunlight under
Your fingernails

And a cat
Who loves
You, all of

This (when
caring for a
plant) is

Related, see,
And the sun
Is present

On your
Eyelids like
A prism thumbnail

Like a
Drunken kaleidoscope,
See it! See it!

And, reach for
The hose
Which is a

Sympathetic snake
And keep a
New good

Thought now
Specific like
How you love

Your mother or hot
Tea, see! Your thumb
Is turning green.

And you're a
Smile all over
And the droplets

Are falling,
Falling,
Falling

To a world
An open mouth
So thirsty.
